A case of arson of a brewery in Ayia Napa on Wednesday morning is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Station.
According to police, in the early hours of the morning, information was received at the Ayia Napa Police Station that there was a fire at the entrance of a beer house on Agia Mavris Street, in Ayia Napa.
The fire was noticed by citizens who extinguished the fire before it spread throughout the beer house.
The scene was cordoned off and from preliminary investigations by members of the Famagusta CID and the Fire Service, it appears that the fire was set maliciously using flammable material.
The scene remains under guard and further investigations are expected to take place at first light.
Famagusta CID is investigating.
