An explosion rocked an area of Limassol at dawn.
According to the police, around 01.50 after midnight, there was an explosion in a shop, owned by a 31-year-old woman, in the Petrou and Pavlou area.
Members of the police immediately rushed to the scene for investigations.
According to initial information, the explosion was caused by an explosive object which was placed at the entrance of the shop.
Fortunately, the explosion did not endanger anyone while the glass display case and the interior were damaged.
From the first moment the scene was cordoned off and investigations resumed at first light.
