Hundreds of civilians showing courage and strength gathered on a main street of Energkodar, town in Zaporizhzhya, southeastern Ukraine, blocking the way for Russian troops in order to protect the nuclear power plant located in the area.

We will not let the Russians take a single step in the city, said Mayor Dmitry Orlov.

In the Ukrainian city of Energodar, Zaporozhye region, residents blocked the roads to the town to save the nuclear power plant.
