A large increase of 253.4% was recorded in trips abroad by residents of Cyprus in November 2021, which amounted to 52,668, compared to 14,905 in November 2020, and a decrease of 50.6%, compared to November 2019.
According to the Statistical Service, the main countries from which Cyprus residents returned in November 2021 were Greece with 42.5% and the United Kingdom with 12.6%.
According to the Statistical Service, the data for November 2021 was obtained by processing data from the "Cyprus Flight Pass" online platform.
It adds that due to problems arising from the completion of the data by the passengers themselves, no further analysis of the data was possible.
