"Bells" to 8 establishments for violation of measures A total of 15 complaints
The police have filed complaints against 7 citizens and 8 establishments for violation of protection measures against the spread of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
As an official of the Communication Branch of the Police told the Cyprus News Agency, during the last 24 hours, the Force carried out a total of 1,959 checks throughout free Cyprus.
Specifically, in Nicosia 562 checks were carried out and one citizen and two managers of establishments were reported, in Limassol 227 checks were carried out with complaints from four citizens and two establishments, in Larnaca one citizen and one manager of an establishment were reported after 435 checks, in Paphos two establishments and one citizen were reported after 141 checks, in Famagusta one establishment manager was reported after 319 checks, while in Morphou 143 checks were carried out without any complaints.
Finally, the Traffic Police Departments carried out 132 checks without any complaints.
