A total of seven establishments and nine citizens were reported by the Police in the last 24 hours, as part of the controls for the implementation of the orders against the spread of COVID-19.
A total of 2190 checks were carried out nationwide. In Nicosia 791 checks were made and complaints were made against three premises and one citizen, in Limassol 193 checks with complaints against one premises and four citizens, in Larnaca 405 checks with complaints against one premises and one citizen and in Paphos 195 checks were made and one premises was reported.
In Famagusta after 368 checks three citizens and one establishment were reported and in Morphou 121 checks were carried out without complaints.
The Traffic Police carried out 103 checks and the Port Police 14 checks without any complaints.
Among the complaints stand out the 4000 euro fine imposed on a supermarket in Famagusta for allowing entry to customers who did not have a safepass, against a hypermarket in Nicosia whose manager did not have a safepass and against a hypermarket in Limassol which was fined 1000 euro for not checking for a safepass at the entrance.
