[Cyprus Times] Ban on entry to the stadiums and bail of 20 thousand euros to three for incidents at the Paphos-APOEL youth match

The Paphos District Court today banned three persons from entering the stadiums and imposed a €20,000 bail on each of them

Three persons aged 31, 27 and 18 who were arrested for facilitating investigations in relation to an investigated case of transport, possession and use of explosives, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanour, assault causing actual bodily harm, resisting lawful arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing a member of the Police in the performance of his duties, appeared before the Paphos District Court today.

The Court set the case for answer on January 13, 2022 and ordered the above defendants to sign a personal bond in the amount of €20,000 each as well as prohibited them from entering sports venues in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

These are offences committed on November 20, 2021 after the end of the football match between the teams Pafos U19 - APOEL U19 for the U19 Pancyprian Championship.

The above persons, having fulfilled the conditions of the Court, were released.
