An alarm has been raised by the authorities after the disappearance of a 60-year-old farmer, who has been missing for several hours. Anxiety prevails for his fate after the heavy blow of bad weather in the area.
An operation is currently underway with the participation of men of the EMAK and a crawler vehicle, to locate a man who allegedly had gone to his sheepfold in the location Katofigi of the Municipality of Viannou in the Local Community Xeniakos Heraklion and has not returned for the second 24 hours.
The information from his relatives activated the mechanism, which is currently operating at a point where the snow makes it difficult to approach the sheepfold.
