Άρχισε η λήψη καταθέσεων από τις αρχές για την υπόθεση του χημείου στην Πάφου που φαίνεται διενεργούσε rapid test με μπατονέτες αυτιών.
Σύμφωνα με την Αστυνομία, σήμερα λήφθηκε κατάθεση από Ανώτερη Λειτουργό του Υπουργείου Υγείας, την ώρα που οι εξετάσεις για την υπόθεση συνεχίζονται.
Recall that the license of the laboratory was summarily revoked by the Ministry of Health, following information that the said place was conducting ear swab tests.
The Cyprus Times has been reliably informed that the incident occurred some 20 days ago when the complaint reached the relevant state agencies.
After an audit was carried out, it was found that the laboratory was indeed using ear swabs instead of the appropriate consumables and was issuing regular certificates against covid-19.
The Ministry of Health immediately - the next day - intervened removing the licence to carry out tests from the site.
However, it is reported that strict instructions were given by Health Minister Michael Hajipandela, as regular and sudden checks were made both in laboratories and pharmacies to avoid similar incidents.
