According to a written statement issued by Atun, the meeting mainly discussed the use of the Turkish lira (TL) in all products sent from the occupied territories to Turkey, GMP reported.
Noting that there is a "significant synergy" towards the conclusion of this issue and that the process is proceeding rapidly, Atun said the risk stemming from foreign exchange will soon be eliminated and price stability will be enhanced by pricing in TL and in the occupied territories the products sold in TL in Turkey's domestic market.
Claiming that "tdvk" as referred to in the pseudo-state is an active TL zone, Atun said that in an environment where mutual trade is conducted in TL, some products sold in the Turkish domestic market in TL should not be priced in foreign currency. This, he added, is important in terms of price stability.
Atoun said another issue raised on the agenda is the provision of low-interest broad-based loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and shopkeepers in the occupied territories through Halk Bankası Bank by the Central Union of Cooperative Loan and Guarantee Associations of Shopkeepers and Artisans of Turkey (TESKOMB).

Ο Ατούν κατέληξε λέγοντας ότι έχει έρθει στο στάδιο της υπογραφής η «κοινή οικονομική συμφωνία» ανάμεσα στην Τουρκία και στο ψευδοκράτος.
