A vehicle owned by a Greek Cypriot woman and used by her 39-year-old son was set ablaze at dawn.
The car was parked outside their residence in Chloraka.
The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade but the vehicle was badly damaged.
According to the police the fire is attributed to a malicious act.
