Police are investigating a case of armed robbery committed at dawn today at a casino in Larnaca district.
According to the evidence under investigation, around 5.00 am on Tuesday morning, two men, who had their faces covered, entered a business establishment operating as a casino in the Pyla area and at the threat of two firearms, snatched money from the cash box of the business establishment. The two perpetrators, who wore dark-coloured clothes, then fled on foot.
Members of the police were called and rushed to the scene for examinations and investigations to identify the perpetrators, while evidence was taken from the scene and is expected to undergo scientific examinations.
The Larnaca CID is investigating the case.
