The information that a well-known Turkish Cypriot businessman was attacked by an armed man in the occupied Agios Epiktitos of Kyrenia, Turkish Cypriot media report.
The T/C businessman Khalil Falyali was attacked with an armed assault on his vehicle, which was being driven by his personal driver.
The T/C media is reporting an armed attack using automatic weapons.
The T/C website "Khaber Kipris" is reporting that Falyali's driver died.
The T/q website, on Tuesday evening, initially reported that Falyali was taken to a "hospital" being "seriously injured".
A short time later, the T/q website reported thatFalialiyali died despite doctors' efforts to keep him alive.
Faliyali at the time of the attack was heading towards his home. His vehicle was followed by a second car, in which his relatives were travelling. These persons were not injured in the attack.
[/P][BR][BR]The name of the businessman Falialialiyali has recently come to the forefront of Turkish and Turkish news in the context of the revelations of the well-known Turkish man of the night, Sedat Peker. Also, Falyali was "taken into custody", some time ago, in the occupied territories.
