Archbishop Chrysostomos will undergo surgery this afternoon after fracturing his hand, according to a medical statement.
According to the statement from the Aretaio Hospital, where the prelate of the Church is being treated, his health condition is good.

It concerns the state of health of His Beatitude Archbishop of New Justinian and All Cyprus, Mr. Mr. Chrysostomos B. His Beatitude the Archbishop suffered a fracture of the humerus today and was transferred to our hospital.
His Beatitude's general state of health is good and the fracture will be treated invasively this afternoon.
A further medical statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
