[Cyprus Times] Archbishop discharged after surgery and returned to his duties

The Archbishop was discharged after surgery - His post-operative course is progressing well - He had suffered a fracture in his arm - Back to his duties

Archbishop Chrysostomos was discharged[/B] from the Aretaio Hospital today, after the operation he underwent as a result of a fracture of the right humerus.

As stated in a statement issued by the Archdiocese, the Primate of the Church of Cyprus was discharged after his good post-operative health.


"Two days after the surgery the Primate of the Church of Cyprus underwent, in the afternoon of Saturday 5 March, he was discharged from the clinic and is now in the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus and on duty," the statement reads.

As reported in previous Cyprus Times reports, the Archbishop had undergone surgery to treat a fracture of the right humerus. The surgery, which was performed by Dr. Nikos Papaloukas and Dr. Sergios Sergios Sergios and was successful.
