An anti-war demonstration was held outside the Russian Embassy in Athens, with the participation of Greek and Ukrainian citizens.
The demonstrators said a resounding "no" to the war on Ukraine unleashed by Russia. In addition to the anti-war slogans, many also chanted slogans against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
A number of Ukrainians living in Greece joined the rally forcefully after the Russian invasion of their homeland, calling for an end to the war that has already cost many deaths to their compatriots, as well as to expatriates living in Ukraine, such as the six Greek dead, victims of the Russian attack on the villages of Bukhash and Sartana.
