US Senator Lindsey Graham made this proposal during an appearance on Fox News.
The statement by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham who called on the citizens of Russia to assassinate Vladimir Putin, because he said that would end the war in Ukraine, is causing a stir.
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham called yesterday, Thursday, for "someone in Russia" to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin and provide "a great service" to Russia and the rest of the world.
Initially Graham, a Republican, made the suggestion during an appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News show.
He repeated his comment in a series of Twitter posts, making a reference to both Brutus, who betrayed Roman Emperor Julius Caesar, and the failed attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944 by German officer Klaus von Stauffenberg.

"Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?" he asked."
"The only way to end this is for someone in Russia to assassinate this guy. He would do a great service to his country and the world," the U.S. senator added."[/P
Graham, a close ally of former US President Donald Trump, on Friday filed a motion to condemn the Russian president and Russian military chiefs, whom he accused of committing "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity."
Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?
The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out.
You would be doing your country and the world a great service.
