The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours in Greece are 12.997 , of which 19 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates.
The total number of cases is 2,499,259 (daily change +0.5%), of which 49.5% are men. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 235 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,078 are associated with an already known case.
New deaths[/B] of COVID-19 patients are 51, with a total of 26,143 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.1% had an underlying disease and/or were aged 70 years or older.

The number of patients hospitalized intubated is 384 (64.6% male). Their median age is 68 years. 89.3% have an underlying disease and/or are 70 years of age or older.
Among intubated patients, 265 (69.01%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 119 (30.99%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,302 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
New admissions of Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 283 (daily change -4.39%). The seven-day average admission is 288 patients.
The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
