Double provocation to the detriment of society by mentioning the legislation on presidential advisers, AKEL stresses "It is not enough that those in power illegally legalised three DISY officials in the public sector... want to legalise illegality."
The decision of the government of the Synergy to refer to the Supreme Court the legislation of the Parliament on presidential advisers is a double challenge to the detriment of society, AKEL stresses in a statement.
"It is not enough that those in power illegally legalised in the public sector three DISY salaried officials and a sibling of Mr Anastasiades who were hired by political appointment as special advisers. It is not enough that they despise the majority of the Parliament and the Audit Office. Now, they want to legitimise illegality by pretending issues other than the substance," AKEL points out.
"Of course," it notes, "the biggest challenge of the government of the Coalition is at the expense of society. At the expense of the thousands of workers whom the government has arbitrarily placed in a market for services, thus depriving them of a third of their income. These thousands of workers are not being made permanent, but at their expense the rulers have turned the laws, ethics and logic upside down."
