The details of the incident in which a 30-year-old Bulgarian woman was beaten by her Egyptian partner are chilling, in Agios Panteleimon on New Year's Day.
With visible marks on her neck from the knife, the 30-year-old woman spoke today on the show of Tatiana Stefanidou on Alpha, describing frame by frame the torture she experienced from the time of her abduction from her house in Galati, until the moment she was rescued by the police.
As she revealed, her Egyptian companion did not hesitate to call her 7-year-old son and make him watch the beating of his mother live.
"He entered the house from the veranda and took me by force with a knife and pulled my hair like a dog. Then a taxi pulled up, we got in and he was next door with a knife so I couldn't call for help," the girl said, going on to describe the horrific things she experienced.
She went on to describe: "We arrived at his house and he started punching me in the head and then with the knife... He wanted to kill me. He also broke the hookah and with the hose he beat me all over my body and head. When the police rang the bell, he took me to the bedroom, changed my clothes by force so that the blood wouldn't show. At that moment he realized that the police were trying to get in from the porch and then he went into the kitchen, got the gas bottle, turned it on and got a lighter to light it and make it explode. He said in front of the police that I was his wife and he could do whatever he wanted to me. He said that Greece has no laws and that he can kill me and come out with my head in his hands and say that he is a man from Egypt."
The 30-year-old woman also referred to the live broadcast of her beating and the fact that she took her son on a video call to watch the beating of his mother: "He opened the live on my Facebook so friends can see what he's doing to me. She also took my child from Messenger, who is 7 years old, and showed him what she was doing to me and how she was beating me. Then he told him to go away and then smashed my phone. My son saw me in blood, and my child started crying and screaming."
The police, she said, were alerted by her sister, as she was in front of the scene of the abduction.
