arrived at around 7.5 tonight and was received by Colin Stewart, while shortly later, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar also arrived at the venue.They exchanged a

handshake and the reception takes place in a warm atmosphere.The two leaders are

accompanied

by the negotiators of each side. According to the programme, before the reception, Mr Stewart makes a brief opening statement.

to the reception are some 40 people, including the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the UNSC and the heads of the technical committees.The reception in honor of the leaders of the two sides is

the reception is an event of a social nature but at the same time it still has a political dimension.
