One "breath" before the end of the year and everyone takes stock of the outgoing year. Argyro Rochidou reflects on her own year from her hospital room.

A different year that "threw" the wife of MP and Vice President of the Democratic Rally Efthymios Diplaros, in a great battle fighting the monster called cancer. For the past four months, accompanied by her husband, she has been in Germany undergoing treatment away from her children and family.

Yesterday she wanted to share with her online friends on Instagram a photo from her hospital room with the following message:

"4 months now ✨and this year is coming to an end... a year that I learned a lot from this long uphill climb. I learned to endure, I learned to fight, I learned to listen, I learned to control emotions, I discovered my strength and stubbornness, I learned to cry and also to pray as my mom tells me. A year we may want to forget... as they write on a piece of paper... for my family and me it will always be etched like a broken heart.

2021 is leaving and taking a big part of my health with it. Surely this Christmas is different, it's lonely in a cold room... I hope 2022 brings the whole world his health, which in the end is what is most important. #4months #germany @efthimiosdiplaros."
