A brutal murder of a man of Afghan origin occurred on Saturday afternoon in Kefallinia Street in Kypseli.
According to information, a passing citizen alerted the police around 4pm about a bloody man who was lying on a pavement.
He succumbed to his injuries
An ambulance of the ambulance service arrived at the scene and transported the injured man to a hospital on duty. The man sustained a stab wound to the thigh, but despite doctors' efforts he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was not able to say anything about the circumstances of his death, so police will try to solve the case from security cameras and witnesses.
