[CYPRUS TIMES] A few showers on the weather menu. Forecast until Thursday

Relatively high pressure is affecting the area.

Today the weather will be partly cloudy, while isolated, mainly light showers are possible. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon in the southwest, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly choppy and in the afternoon in the west and north up to choppy. Temperatures will rise to around 17 degrees inland and on the coast and 9 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight there will be occasional localised clouds. Winds will initially be mainly northwesterly light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later mainly northwesterly to northeasterly light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be a little choppy and initially locally in the west up to choppy while in the east it will become calm to a little choppy. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees in the interior and on the coast and to around 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost may form locally.

On Tuesday, there will be intermittent increased clouds, which may give isolated light showers. WednesdayWednesday will see intermittent increasing clouds. On Thursday the weather will be mainly clear.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly over the three-day period, remaining close to average climatic values.

The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 67 cm.
