The cold air mass, which affects the region, gradually recedes from Sunday and relatively low pressure begins to affect us.

Today, the weather will be mainly clear in the morning, with locally increasing clouds on the coast, with isolated rain in the northwest. From midday onwards, however, the weather will become partly cloudy and mostly cloudy in places, with the possibility of isolated mainly light showers and light snowfall, locally in the mountains. Winds will blow northeast to southeast and in the afternoon in the west southwest to west, light, 3 Beaufort and occasionally locally up to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 14 degrees inland and on the coast and around 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will prevail locally.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy in places, while in the coastal areas mainly there may be isolated light rain as well as occasional light snowfall locally in the mountains. Winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast, light, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 3 degrees in the interior, around 7 degrees on the coast and around minus 2 degrees in the higher mountains. Frost is expected in the mountains and in some areas of the lowlands.

On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy at times, while mainly from midday onwards local rain and snowfall is expected, locally in the higher mountains.

On Monday[/B], the weather will generally be mainly cloudy and local rain or isolated thunderstorms are expected, with snowfall locally in the higher mountains. The weather is expected to improve in the evening.

Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy at times, with isolated rain and light snowfall locally in the higher mountains.

The temperature will gradually rise until Tuesday, to hover around average climatic values.

The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 76 cm.
