A total of 780 new cases of coronavirus were detected on Friday in the occupied territories out of a total of 23.328 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
The "health ministry" announced that all cases are local infections.
401 were detected in occupied Nicosia, 136 in Kyrenia, 147 in Famagusta, 12 in Trikomo, 36 in Morphou and 48 in Lefka.
The total number of cases in the occupied territories amounts to 40,151 and deaths to 143.
