A dummy pistol and a small amount of methamphetamine were found in the possession of a 33-year-old man,[/B] who was arrested and taken into custody for the purposes of police investigations.
At around 1.45pm after midnight, members of the Limassol Police stopped for checking the 33-year-old man, who was driving a car suspiciously in an area of Limassol.
Police members proceeded with a search and found in the 33-year-old's possession, in a nylon bag, a white crystalline substance of methamphetamine, approximately 1.5 grams, as well as a dummy pistol, which was retained for examination.
After the 33-year-old was arrested by members of the police, he was taken to the YKAN offices in Limassol for examinations, and was then taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
The YKAN Limassol Unit is investigating.
