In her testimony she said that she was arguing with her mom because she did not want to tell the police what was happening
The 23-year-old disabled, who had been kicked out of her home by her mother in Volos, reported rape by her uncle. Yesterday, testifying in the court where her mother was on trial, the 23-year-old said that her uncle had raped her the day before her mother kicked her out of the house last Sunday, September 4, as well as last November at their home in a village in Kalambaka.
It is noted that the house she is staying at in Volos is her uncle's, whom she accused of rape. The court ordered that the case file be forwarded back to the Volos Prosecutor's Office for investigation of the matter.
Both the mother of the 23-year-old and her sister and aunt and sister of the 40-year-old man who was accused of rape seem to have known what was going on. The girl pointed out in her statement that she was arguing with her mother because she did not allow her to report the incident to the police, ERT reported.
Her mother, however, said she is unemployed and is supported by her brothers who live in Volos, while she and her two daughters live in a village of Kalambaka.
