The 852 coronavirus cases in the occupied territories, which resulted from 25452 diagnostic tests in the last 24 hours, are also local, the "health ministry" announced.
As reported from the occupied territories, 345 new infections were detected in occupied Nicosia, 248 in Kyrenia, 178 in Famagusta, 28 in Trikomo, 40 in Morphou and 13 in Lefka.
Including Wednesday's cases, the total number of cases in the occupied territories stands at 44138, while the number of deaths with the final cause of the disease is stable at 145.
