The Ministry of Health announces that today, February 16, 2022:

7 deaths were announced
They concern:
o Male, aged 87 years, who died on 14 February
o Female, aged 50 years, who died on 15 February
o Male, aged 59 years, who died on 15 February
o Female, aged 85 years, who died on 15 February
o Female, aged 92 years, who died on 15 February
o Male, aged 63 years, who died on 16 February
o Female, aged 99 years, who died on 16 February
o Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 798.
175 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in OCHS hospitals
43 in serious condition (ICU: 1 off ventilator/13intubated, PICU: 29)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 70.86%
30 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in ICU.

Diagnostic tests:

A total of 97 were performed.679 diagnostic tests
2,549 new cases detected (total 298,235 cases)

Positivity rate in all tests 2.61%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

508 molecular tests performed and 67 positive cases identified (positivity rate 13.19%)
1.276 rapid antigen detection tests and 88 positive cases detected (6.9% positivity rate)
Private initiative:

43.719 rapid antigen detection tests, 1,230 positive cases detected (positivity rate 2.81%)

Through the Ministry of Health programmes, 47,303 rapid antigen detection tests were carried out. A total of 945 positive cases were detected.



Sampling sites: 24,259 rapid detection tests detected658 positive cases (2.71% positivity rate)

Training[BR][BR]Average Training: 12,923 rapid detection tests detected 104 positive cases (0.8% positivity rate)[BR][BR] Test-to-Stay: conducted 5.623 rapid antigen detection tests and 76 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1.35%)

Special schools: 245 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0%)
Other
Welfare homes: 1.155 rapid antigen detection tests, 17 positive cases detected (positivity rate1.47%)
Closed facilities: 1,730 rapid antigen detection tests performed; 2 new cases detected (positivity rate0.12%).
Government services: 92 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were identified (0% positivity rate)
