Week of information and policing with roadside checks on lorries and buses, was held between 13 - 19 June 2022, as part of actions to reduce road collisions and increase safety on the road network.
The week of actions was carried out on a pan-European level, by the member countries of the European Police Roadpol network, by raising awareness of the dangers caused by non-compliance with current legislation, but also by intensifying traffic controls for offences committed by truck and bus drivers.
During the campaign a total of 181 lorry checks and 63 bus checks were carried out, which resulted in 67 complaints for various traffic offences, of which two concerned bus drivers.
