A total of 666 new cases of coronavirus were announced in the occupied territories on Friday from a total of 15,137 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
According to the "health ministry" 40 of the positive cases are contacts of a confirmed case and 626 are local infections.
260 cases are from Nicosia, 134 from Kyrenia, 160 from Famagusta, 23 from Trikomo, 23 from Morphou and 26 from Lefka.
35,983 cases and 139 deaths have been recorded in the occupied territories.
