The "health ministry" in the occupied territories announced on Friday 579 cases of Covid 19 from 18.726 tests, while 578 people were discharged or released from quarantine.
As reported in the occupied territories, of the new cases, 249 were detected in Nicosia, 135 in Kyrenia, 108 in Famagusta, 50 in Morphou, 22 in Trikomo and 15 in the Lefka area.
To date, a total of 5,330,419 tests have been performed in the occupied territories and 53,027 cases have been detected. 5,001 people are under treatment and monitoring, 56 in the pandemic hospital, 14 in intensive care.
The total number of victims of the pandemic currently remains 167.
Today 1,636 vaccinations were administered in the occupied territories.
