The 55-year-old man[/B] who last March after disagreements with his neighbour in Limassol opened fire against his house heard his sentence today.
Today the Limassol Permanent Court of Cassation sentenced the 55-year-old to six years in prison after finding him guilty in connection with a case involving the illegal possession and transportation of a firearm.
It will be recalled that the case was reported by the 55-year-old man's neighbour last March. The suspect admitted to firing shots at both the 31-year-old's home and car. The neighbours had a dispute over their field boundaries
The 55-year-old was found to have fired more than 14 shots with a 9mm automatic weapon.
