The Ministry of Health announces that today, February 22, 2022:

5 deaths[/B]

They concern:

o Male, aged 71 years, who died on 21 February

o Female, aged 84 years, who died on 21 February

o Female, aged 77 years, who died on 21 February

o Female, aged 46 years, who ended on 22 February



o Female, aged 74 years, who ended on 22 February

Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 830.

157 COVID-19 patients hospitalized

43 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/11 intubated, NICU: 32)

Percentage of inpatients without history of vaccination: 70.07%

25 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in ICU.

Diagnostic tests:

A total of 104 were performed.793 diagnostic tests

2,322 new cases (total 311,239 cases) detected

Positivity rate in all tests 2.22%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

7.585 molecular tests

381 positive cases

Positivity rate 5.02%

Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):

97,208 rapid antigen detection tests were performed

Positivity rate 2%

Tracing:

549 molecular tests were performed and 52 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 9.47%)

842 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 82 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 9.74%)

Private initiative:

1.911 molecular tests, 258 positive cases detected (13.5% positivity rate)

41,397 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 1,122 positive cases detected (2.71% positivity rate)

55,811 rapid antigen detection tests performed through Ministry of Health programs

55,811 rapid antigen detection tests performed through Ministry of Health programs. 819 positive cases were detected.

Sampling sites: 16,295 rapid detection tests detected 465 positive cases (positivity rate 2.85%)

Education

Primary education: 20.424 rapid antigen detection tests, 119 positive cases detected (0.58% positivity rate)

Secondary Education: 11,676 rapid detection tests, 91 positive cases detected (0.78% positivity rate)

Test-to-Stay: 4.646 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 49 positive cases were detected (1.05% positivity rate)

Other

Welfare homes: 995 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 10 positive cases were detected (1.01% positivity rate)

Government agencies: 933 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 3 positive cases were identified (0.32% positivity rate)
