The Ministry of Health announces that today, 12 February 2022:
5 deaths were announced
They concern:
- Male, aged 85, who died on 11 February
- Male, aged 88, who died on 12 February
- Male, aged 76, who died on 12 February
- Male, aged 82 years, who died on 12 February
- Male, aged 68 years, who died on 12 February
Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 785.
180 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in OCHS hospitals
37 in serious condition (1 in ICU/8 intubated, 28 in PICU)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 68.16%
32 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
A total of 83,144 diagnostic tests
A total of 2,120 new cases were identified (total cases 288,063).
Positivity rate in all tests 2.55%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
6.893 molecular tests

Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (RapidTest):

112 molecular tests were performed and 9 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 8.04%)
1.373 rapid antigen detection tests and 95 positive cases detected (positivity rate 6,92%)
Private initiative:
2.043 molecular tests, 251 positive cases detected (positivity rate 12.29%)
43,233 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 1.065 positive cases (positivity rate 2.46%)
Through the Ministry of Health programs, 33,018 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. A total of 735 positive cases were detected.
Sampling sites: 31.146 rapid detection tests identified 624 positive cases (positivity rate 2%)
Other
Welfare homes: 380 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 16 positive cases detected (positivity rate 4.21%)
Closed facilities: 119 rapid antigen detection tests performed, no new cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
