[CYPRUS TIMES] 4-year-old girl found wandering alone in the buffer zone in Athienou

A 4-year-old girl was found wandering alone in the Athienou buffer zone They are combing the area to find the parents of the little child

In a patrol conducted inside the buffer zone by United Nations men, found a four-year-old girl, of Arab origin, wandering alone.

According to the police, the little girl was spotted around 4 a.m. and the UN men took the little girl to the Athienou Police Station. The Police in turn informed the Social Welfare Service of the incident and officers rushed to the Police Station to pick her up.

Members of the Cyprus Police and the United Nations are combing the area to determine if there are any migrants in the area who may be the parents of the young child.
