The Ministry of Health announces that today, 4 March 2022:

4 deaths

They concern:

-Man, aged 68 years, who died on 3 March

-Man, aged 83 years, who died on 3 March

-Woman, aged 79 years, who died on 4 March

-Woman, aged 90 years, who died on 4 March

Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 873.

-137 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in OCHS hospitals

-30 in serious condition (ICU: 1 off ventilator/12 intubated, PICU: 17)

-Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 57.67%

-16 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in ICU.

Diagnostic tests:

-A total of 107,650 diagnostic tests

-A total of 2.114 new cases (total of 329,674 cases)

-Positivity rate in all tests 1.96%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

3.659 molecular tests

283 positive cases

Positivity rate 7.73%

Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):

103,991 rapid antigen detection tests performed

1.831 positive cases

Positivity rate 1.76%

Tracing:

272 molecular tests were performed and 51 positive cases were identified (18.75% positivity rate)

626 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 67 positive cases were identified (10.7% positivity rate)

Private initiative:

1.579 molecular tests were performed, 179 positive cases detected (11.34% positivity rate)

48,563 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1,121 positive cases detected (2.31% positivity rate)

55,428 rapid antigen detection tests were performed through the Ministry of Health programs

55,428 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 710 positive cases were detected.

Sampling points: 17,124 rapid detection tests detected 432 positive cases (positivity rate 2.52%)

Education

Primary education: 20.607 rapid antigen detection tests, 87 positive cases detected (0.42% positivity rate)

Secondary Education: 11,401 rapid detection tests, 86 positive cases detected (0.75% positivity rate)

Test-to-Stay: 3.779 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 32 positive cases were identified (0.85% positivity rate)

Other

Welfare homes: 871 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 4 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0.46%)

Closed facilities: 37 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no new cases were detected (positivity rate 0%).

Government services: 890 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (0% positivity rate)

Industrial areas: 93 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2 positive cases were detected (2.15% positivity rate)
