In 6 citizens and 4 establishments, the police filed complaints in the last 24 hours, after 2,581 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Law on Infectious Diseases.
In Nicosia, 1,172 checks were carried out,[/b] from which no complaints were made, in Limassol 210 checks were carried out, from which 1 complaint was made by a citizen and 2 by managers of premises.
In Larnaca 433 checks were carried out, with 2 complaints from citizens and one complaint from a responsible establishment, in Paphos 130 checks were carried out, which resulted in one complaint from an establishment, in Paphos 102 checks were carried out with 1 complaint from a citizen and 1 complaint from an establishment, in Famagusta 416 checks were carried out and there were 2 complaints from citizens, in Morphou 149 checks were carried out with no complaints.
Also, the Traffic Police carried out 97 checks and the Coast Guard 2 checks without any complaints.
