A 37-year-old man was detained for theft from a vehicle and malicious damage arrested in the early hours of the morning Pafos Police are investigating
A 37-year-old person was detained on suspicion of theft from a car and malicious damage, committed in Paphos.
According to a Spokesperson of the Paphos Police Directorate, it was reported on 8.1.22 by a female vehicle owner that an unknown person allegedly smashed the glass of the passenger door in our vehicle and removed from it, her woman's handbag, which among other things contained the sum of 2.300 euros in cash.
Following relevant testimony against a specific person and as part of further investigations, members of the Paphos Police Directorate issued an arrest warrant against a 37-year-old man.
The 37-year-old was arrested today 12.1.22 at 00:50 and was taken into custody at the Paphos police station's detention facilities.
Examinations are ongoing by the Paphos Police.
