A 30-year-old man who was arrested under a European arrest warrant in Limassol and had been in custody since January is expected to be handed over to German investigators this afternoon.
Investigators from Germany are expected to arrive in Cyprus this afternoon to arrange his transfer.
The 30-year-old, who was wanted for the offence of fraud relating to a criminal organisation committed in his country, was today taken by members of the Limassol CID to court, where with his consent it was decided to extradite him to Germany.
The court on 18 January where he was arrested had ordered that he be released on parole, but today he was ordered to be handed over to German investigators.
