There is no end to family dramas in the Regional Unit of Serres, due to coronavirus.
In a village of the Municipality of Nea Zichni, in Myrkinos Serres, according to ERT information, a 74-year-old father and his 48-year-old daughter[/B] who were unvaccinated and were hospitalized at the AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki, died within 24 hours.
At the same time, the mother is also battling coronavirus at the hospital. The village is wrapped in mourning and everyone is talking about the evil that has befallen the area since nearby is Mavrolofos where another drama had unfolded with the death of a 61-year-old man and his 28-year-old son.
A touching farewell
The 48-year-old woman's[/B] family was well-loved in the area and the loss of both father and daughter has shocked relatives and friends who are writing heartbreaking messages on Facebook.
"My little girl,[BR]My little smile, my little mama,[BR]I don't want, I can't[BR]I don't want to believe,[BR] that you won't be with us anymore,.
I love you to heaven and back," her friend writes on Facebook.
While another says: "My little heart, my little soul, my little sweetheart (as I called you and you laughed with that immense smile that beautified all the greatness of your soul) my little brother You have left for the neighborhood of angels. I will miss you very much. I will remember and remember you until I too close my eyes. Farewell heaven, good rest, good resurrection and good riddance. I will love you and you will be in my heart forever."
Families of unvaccinated people are dying within days of each other
At the same time, the families of unvaccinated people suffering from coronavirus are at the mercy of the pandemic, with the victims multiplying daily and the tragedies causing shock in local communities all over Greece. More and more cases are coming to light and involve parents and children who have not been vaccinated, contract coronavirus and eventually lose their lives.
Father and son in Serres
A typical example is Serres where another tragedy took place. Father and son, both unvaccinated, died of coronavirus. The first to die was the 28-year-old son, with the family deciding not to inform the 61-year-old father, who was also in a serious condition in hospital.
Finally, in less than a month the father lost the battle against covid-19, writing tragic pages in this family.
The priest, as thebest.gr was suffering from coronavirus and was being treated in the hospital of Agios Andreas together with his father and his wife.
The incident has shocked the world of the church and not only, since Fr. Ioannis, who was ministering in Krya Iteon, was particularly beloved.
A few 24 hours ago, 73-year-old Vassilios Dimitropoulos could not stand it and lost his battle with life, and according to reports he was unvaccinated, as was his son. The deceased had a multifaceted ministry in the local church for many years, having established the chapel of Agia Annis and the Spiritual Center of the church. His three sons, John, Gerasimos and Themistocles, also followed the path of the priesthood.
Tragedy with priests in Ilia
Meanwhile, within a month, a 54-year-old priest from a village in Ilia Kambos, the priest's father-in-law and his mother-in-law passed away. It all started when the elder, wife of the 54-year-old priest from Ilia who died of coronavirus, visited their parents in Athens without knowing that she was ill, resulting in her two parents contracting the disease.
Her father, who was also a priest, and her mother, who had not had the vaccine and had to be admitted to hospital. The elder returned to the village in the plain of Ilia where she resides and as a result infected her 54-year-old priest husband (also unvaccinated) who a few days after his in-laws were admitted to the University Hospital of Rio to be hospitalized with coronavirus.
She was also hospitalized in the same hospital a few days later. Unfortunately, the outcome for both her parents and her 54-year-old priest husband was not a happy one as they passed away within days of each other due to complications from covid-19. Four of the family's five children, who were all boys, became ill and even the 25-year-old mathematician who lives in Athens was hospitalized without any serious problem.
