A 28-year-old woman was arrested for trying to give drugs to a prisoner Her boyfriend's appeal was being heard and she went to see him... but she was handcuffed YKAN is investigating

A 28-year-old foreigner was handcuffed in Nicosia when police members caught her giving drugs to a prisoner.

According to the Cyprus[/B] Times, the 28-year-old woman, while outside the High Court and while her boyfriend's appeal was being heard, attempted to give him a plastic egg containing drugs.

Members of the Central Police Station noticed the 28-year-old and during a body search a plastic egg containing 18 grams of cannabis was found in her possession.

The 28-year-old was handcuffed and the case is being investigated by the YKAN.

Her Greek Cypriot boyfriend's appeal for a drug case was being heard at the Supreme Court.
