The Paphos District Court issued a five-day detention order against a 27-year-old suspect for alleged complicity in the escape of two detainees from the Paphos Police Directorate's detention facilities.

According to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos Police Department Michael Nicolaou, the Police arrested a 27 year old resident of Paphos yesterday, to facilitate interrogations on an investigated case of complicity after the commission of a felony.

Testimony[/B] had been secured against the 27-year-old regarding the escape of two prisoners from the Paphos Police Directorate's detention facilities.
