A total of 17 persons and 6 establishments were reported in the last 24 hours in the framework of inspections for compliance with the orders during the dispersal of Covid-19.
According to a spokesman for the Police Communication Branch, 1,912 checks were carried out nationwide.
Specifically, in Nicosia, 565 checks were carried out and 10 citizens were denounced, while in Limassol 165 checks were carried out without a complaint.
The checks in Larnaca were carried out with three complaints from citizens, where 361 checks were made.
In Paphos, 152 checks were carried out and 6 owners of premises were complained about.
In Famagusta district 387 checks were carried out and 4 citizens complained, while in Morphou district 145 checks were carried out without any complaints.
The Traffic Police carried out 111 checks and the Port and Maritime Police 26, but no complaints were made.
