Two cases of theft from a vehicle are being investigated by the Paphos Police.

According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, it was reported by an Empa resident that between the hours of 08:00- 08:30 yesterday, unknown persons allegedly opened the door of his car and stole from it a small bag, which contained a bundle of keys worth 100 euros and various receipts relating to the church committee of Empa. On the same day some of the items were found in a field near his residence. From further examinations through closed circuit television evaluated and assessed by the police, testimony against a 20-year-old was obtained.

An arrest warrant was issued against him, he was sought without being located and is wanted.

Moreover, according to Mr. Ioannou, he was denounced on 20.1.22 to the Paphos Central Police Station by a woman that on the same day between the hours of 09:00 in the morning and 12:00 at noon, the sum of 100 euros, her driver's license, her identity card and a bag, which contained various items, property of her daughter, of unknown value, were stolen from the vehicle which she had parked in the underground parking lot of a complex in Paphos.

For the above case, testimony was secured against a 26-year-old woman. An arrest warrant was issued against her; she was sought, not located and efforts are being made to arrest her.

Investigations are ongoing by the Paphos Police.
