The police filed 19 complaints against citizens and 7 owners or managers of premises in the last 24 hours[/B], after 2.361 carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain the observance and application of the decrees of the Infection Control Law.
As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 770 checks were carried out in Nicosia, in the framework of which 1 citizen and 3 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 206 checks were carried out, which resulted in 11 complaints from citizens and 4 establishments.
In Larnaca 571 checks were carried out and 1 citizen was complained about, in Paphos 113 checks were carried out, which resulted in 1 citizen and 1 business complaint, in Famagusta 336 checks were carried out, which resulted in 4 citizen complaints and in Morphou 182 checks were carried out with one citizen complaint.
Also, nationwide, the Traffic Police carried out 164 checks, without a complaint.
The Port Police carried out 19 checks, without a complaint.
