The body of another migrant, who was on board the fatal sailboat that capsized on Christmas Eve off Paros and resulted in the deaths of 16 people, was found in the early hours of yesterday morning in the Kionia area of Tinos.
According to verbal testimonies from the 63 rescued migrants on the sailboat, it was a man, about 1.80 m tall, who was on board.
Immediately, members of the relevant port authority went to the spot, who, with the assistance of personnel from the Tinos Police Department, recovered the body of the man from the sea.
The Tinos Port Authority, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, is going to order an autopsy.
