According to the Meteorological Service, the cold air mass affecting the area has been gradually subsiding since Sunday, while the snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 76 cm.

Tonight, there will initially be increasing clouds, with the possibility of isolated light rain, mainly in the northwest, but later the weather will become mostly clear in places. Winds will blow northwest to northeast and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort but initially in the west up to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally mainly cloudy, while mainly from noon onwards local rain and snowfall are expected, locally in the higher mountains. The temperature will gradually rise, to hover around average climatic values.
