Welfare offices in Paphos were broken into overnight, police said on Tuesday, adding that nothing seemed to have been stolen.

According to Paphos police, the main entrance of the building was forced, and the unknown assailants caused around €1,400 worth of damage.

Police said that at first glance it didn’t seem like anything was stolen, but the scene has been cordoned off, so police could collect evidence.

Police were to guard the building as the investigations continued.
